We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) with experience in building complex applications to join our team to work on an innovative FinTech platform.
You will be working alongside our Product team in Mumbai, and our Engineering team in Gdynia, Poland.
What we expect from you:
- 5+ years of experience in the role of DevOpS Engineer
- Degree from a reputable university
- Fluency in English is a must and any other major European language is a plus
- Knowledge of systems administration and AWS services
- Cloudformation - infrastructure as a Code,
- Microservices - ECS, Fargate,
- Serverless - Lambda, API Gateway,
- Pipeline - Code Pipeline, Code Build
- DataBase - RDS, DynamoDB
- Security - Control Tower Landing Zone, Client VPN
- Great communication skills
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) is a strong plus
This position will entail the following:
- Design and implement CI/CD processes and integrate tools
- Build and maintain microservice application infrastructure as IoC
- Development of automation tools/scripts, automation of problem solving
- Work with the development team to improve/automate software, create a learning curve for the team
- Implement and manage system logging, alerting, and security monitoring
- Implement security tools and security testing (DevSecOps)
- Join dev stand-ups/retrospection from time to time
- Be a liaison to internal customers, making sure they have the infrastructure resources and knowledge to run their applications effectively
- Your expertise will be called on to improve the product, suggest best practices for users, and drive the public conversation around modern infrastructure
- Perform some SRE work to help improve our applications with a Systems perspective
